برد آموزشی Cortex-M3 LPC1768 بر اساس LPC1768 متعلق به شرکت NXP بوده که بر اساس هسته نسل دوم میکروکنترلرهای ARM Cortex-M3 طراحی گشته است. این هسته برای کاربردهای سیستم های نهفته (embedded) در سرعت های بالا، توان مصرفی کم و پردازش 32 بیتی طراحی گشته است. از جمله اهداف طراحی این نسل از پردازنده ها می توان به مصارف اندازه گیری، ارتباطات صنعتی، کنترل موتورهای صنعتی، سیستم های هوشمند و روباتیک اشاره نمود.
برد آموزشی Cortex-M3 LPC1768 دارای پروگرامر آنبرد(On Board) جیلینک (Jlink) بوده و از تجهیزات USB2.0 و 2 اینترفیس CAN و همچنین RS-485 پشتیبانی می کند. CD این برد حاوی مثال های آموزشی بسیار زیادی جهت فراگیری کامل میکروکنترلرهای ARM سری LPC17XX می باشد.
